Sage Grazer, LCSW
PSYCHOTHERAPIST SPECIALIZING IN ANXIETY & LIFE STRESS
Discover your true potential without the weight of anxiety or limiting beliefs.
I find that strengthening emotional resilience and developing awareness and integration of mind and body allows people to expand their lives and improve their relationships in meaningful ways.
I approach my work with empathy, compassion, and care. I work with clients on an individualized basis, tailoring the treatment to their unique issues and personality. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities including evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and insight-oriented therapies like psychodynamic therapy. Through my work, I aim to empower clients to use their voice by helping them understand and assert their needs while enhancing meaningful connections in their lives.
I help clients of all genders experiencing anxiety, work pressures, social stressors, major life changes (e.g. career transitions, new phases in relationships, embarking on parenthood, adjusting to loss), trauma, burnout, and low self-esteem.
In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I co-founded a mental health company, Frame, that aimed to make therapy more accessible and attainable by offering free mental health content & resources as well as matching clients with therapists. My experience building a startup gave me a unique perspective and inside look at the inner workings and complex relational dynamics that come up in startup culture. I’m passionate about helping founders and others in high-stress roles develop the skills to break free from burnout, communicate effectively, manage relationships, and step into authentic self-confidence.
MY GUIDING PRINCIPLES
COMPASSION
Compassionate therapy is an opportunity to allow someone to empathize with you while facilitating personal growth and emotional healing a judgment-free environment.
CONNECTION
Creating a safe space and trusting relationship is paramount to successful therapy. Genuine connection can only happen when you’re feeling safe enough to be open and vulnerable.
OPENNESS
Openness doesn’t mean you have to share everything. It means a willingness to participate and consider new perspectives that may feel uncomfortable at first.
COLLABORATION
Effective therapy comes out of the partnership and collaboration of the therapist and the client. We will work together to uncover the patterns that hold you back while developing new, healthier ways of coping.
